I do not know how bad a "brooked" foot is, but a broken foot would be a reason for a temporary handicapped parking permit. Check with your doctor. You will need to have the form from DMV, most doctors do not keep the forms in their offices!!

brook (n.) Chiefly Northeastern U.S. creek,
broke (v.) Past tense of break
Unless you turned your foot into a flowing body of water, you actually "broke" your foot. And of course with a broken foot you probably should not be driving at all, so you wouldn't need handicapped parking permission. But discuss it with your doctor and see if he or she will fill out the necessary forms for you to get a temporary permit.

A handicapped permit for sticking your foot in a brook? Are you sure it wasn't a small stream? A rivulet, perhaps? If you are off work for 10 weeks, I'd imagine it was a raging river instead!

Your doctor will give you a letter to give to the DMV and they will be able to give you a Handicap parking Permit. P.S. broken is spelled broken not brooken
