57 to 69 days with average of 63 to 64 days.

During the first weeks of cat gestation, it's almost impossible to notice that a cat is pregnant. In general she will behave normally.

Check her nipples, if you think a cat is pregnant.

Her nipples become pink after about three weeks. This is most visible if it's the first time the queen is pregnant. From that moment it will take six weeks before the kittens arrive.

Then, she will start gaining weight but it won't show until about the fifth week -- 35 days or so. And she would begin to look fat right around the middle.

A vet can tell for certain if the cat is pregnant.

I've been through it three times -- the cat looks like a fat, waddling duck.

Here is some more advice before the cat gives birth -- find a nesting place for the mom -- preferably a quiet place with little "human" traffic. Put down soft towels that can easily be washed later. Show the place to the mom -- don't worry. She will go there when she's ready. (well, one of mine broke her water in my lap). When the kittens come, they should just "slide" right out -- just pop out.

My first experience mom was in trouble and I didn't know it -- no goopy stuff on the kittens, they took too long and the last one was still born.

And the second experience the kittens popped out like they should covered with goop.

My experience is that the mom cat likes human companionship. Likes to be petted and comforted -- because she is in pain. I picked the kittens up and put them at the nipple. However, this is debatable because kittens need to get going on the exercise to find a nipple.

The gestation period for cats is nine weeks. Pregnant cats, like humans, gain weight gradually throughout pregnancy. The energy requirements of pregnant cats are reflected by their weight gain. The energy needs of a pregnant cat should gradually increase so that, by the end of pregnancy, she is consuming 25% – 50% more than her normal amount of calories.Cats usually don't have any trouble delivering. You can not tell how far long she is,just keep a eye on her. If you see the cat pushing for over an hour without producing any kittens, call your local small animal emergency clinic.

63 days or 7-9 weeks.
Do you realize that for every 1 person born, there are 7 puppies and kittens
born? At best, 1 will find a forever home.
And don't forget, that every "Free-to-good-home" litter takes homes away
from animals already at the shelter.

STOP letting your pets; or your friends, relatives or co-workers pets
contribute to the problem.
If you love animals, it is NOT ENOUGH to merely say "My pets are fixed".
Vow to educate and enable others to fix their pets too.
Spaying just 1 female dog or cat, will prevent 6 others from ending up in a
shelter the following year.
Please be part of the solution, NOT the problem!
Thank you. ^..^

57 to 70 days. If you are not sure if she is pregnant check her nipples..They should be really pink and more prominent on her belly.
