I got him at animal rescue, he is twelve months old, i called him Ali as in Mohomad Ali but he just stares at me as if i just landed from space, any hints.
Thank you to all that answered my questions in the past, you were a great help.

Ali is a good name and he will eventually get used to it if that's the name you want. Did you know Mohammad Ali's name before he became muslim was Cashus Clay? Just a thought.

Is he just the regular brown or tiger striped? I think a good name would be spike or killer or something tough. They shouldn't have nice cutesey names then they don't seem tough. Ali is a really good name he may just need to get used to it.
Good Luck!!!

I think you need to maybe look at all the names suggested and say them to your dog and look for a reaction. If you get close to the sound of a name he was called you can then work on this until you choose one to suit his personality!

I've had two boxer dogs in my family. A brown one called Paddy who was lovely but always looked sad and a white one called Billy who was a bit daft.

or you could call it DFor as in D for Dog!
