I am the Los Angeles manager of a large wholesale dairy.I was a nominal believer until 1984 after studying much evidence, archaeologically and in the manuscripts.Have been a staunch believer since. My views on sex is ,what you do in private is your business as long as it's legal.Been married since I was 20 years old in 1974.Why God created is a mystery, but that he did is beyond arguing for me.Predictive prophecy that all came to pass 100% is a big one with me.There's a book called 'Evidence That Demands a Verdict'by Josh McDowell, college level reading .This is a great reference work for that .
Heaven is a real solid place that we will be based at as we go and do God's will throughout the universe and beyond. It's called the "New Jerusalem" and will descend and orbit the Earth in the end.(Rev.19 and on..)The measurements run through a computer show that it might just be pyramidal(that is confirmed by the Moody Bible Institute)This takes into account for the ancients calling the" Great Pyramid" in Egypt ,'The pillar of Enoch'.That Enoch built it before the flood.Jesus called Hades, outer darkness.I believe it is another dimension were people are isolated from all especially God.Under our Earth is where the Lake of Fire is (not hard to phathom)and where all the unrepentant will go but not till the very end.No one is in a fiery Hell yet. They are held in Hades.Everyone will be resurrected,Daniel says ,some to everlasting life some to everlasting shame.
How'd I do?Not bad for an old surfer?

I am a Christian and I am a housewife and mother. I love to go to church, I go to a lively church with a great group of musicians and some good song leaders. Its a causal setting and great teaching. The particular church I go to is a member of the Independent Assemblies. I would highly recommend one like it. A Non Denominational church would come close. We believe that the bible is the true inspired word of God to His people. The bible says sex is good between a man and a woman that are married to each other. God is the creator and He has left us a handbook to live by called the bible. The new testament is where you should start reading, since we are under a different covenant than people in the old testament. I hope you will Church into the bible and find out more.

This may be lengthy. I have been a Christian since the spring of 1964. I slipped for several years and at many instances did things MY WAY. Twenty-two years ago, I got serious about my faith. I was asked once to sit in for a Sunday school teacher and have been teaching since 1988. I have taught various age groups from 2nd grade through 8th. I presently teach 3rd/4th grades. We do no crafts. We often don't finish the lesson because of questions/comments/discussions. I am an ordained deacon, and have given sermons in place of the pastor when he was not able to. I have sat on various committes, sometimes as chairman. I have acted as security officer for my church, as gardener/groundskeeper, treasurer, and janitor. I also am in the choir (and have been since 1989). I drive the bus for the church on Sundays and for various outings requiring mass transportation. I worked in a children's ministry for 10 years as the director...called the Commander (see AWANA.ORG). I sing with a group of people from about 17 other churches. We have sung locally and in other towns around Virginia and N. Carolina. Our group has sung in London, France, Moscow and Uruguay. It is called the VIRGINIA VOICES, CHRISTIAN MUSIC ASSOCIATION, INTERNATIONAL. For a LIVING, I am a government contractor (for over 13 years) working logistics for foreign navies. When our gov't sells one of our old US Navy ships, I am on a team that does the logistics for the turn over. My view on SEX is that God made sex to be enjoyed, not just for procreating. Sex should be between a HUSBAND AND A WIFE as a way to show deep love for the other. God....what is He? He is He who made everything in the beginning. He IS, WAS and ALWAYS WILL BE. He has no beginning and has no end. He is the Creator. Heaven is in the presence of God where all believers will spend eternity. Hell is the absolute absence of God. I truly believe there is an eternal fire where all will go who have DENIED CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR AFTER HAVING HAD THE OFFER OF SALVATION AND TURNED IT DOWN.
I could have been more specific, and added more but decided to keep it short.

Hi Rubiee,
I am a Christian. I had been a Mathematics Instructor at a College and HIgh School. I became ill and am presently disabled at this time. At church, I Sometimes: teach BIble Classes, offer opening or closing prayers, greet others as they arrive, lead singing, and assist with communion. GOD Created everything that is and ever was. HE inspired the writing of the Old Testament for the Israelites to study and follow. HE then sent HIS SON who was born of a virgin to begin the New Testament CHURCH. Jesus Christ came to earth thru a miraculous birth. HE performed miracles that have never been duplicated and taught a group of men to carry on HIS Life work bringing GOD's New Testament Message to our world.
Study these scriptures and see what you think. To become a Christian:
HEAR - Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
BELIEVE - In Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
REPENT - Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
CONFESS CHRIST - 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
BE BAPTIZED - Romans 6:3-4 do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL - Jesus said in Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.

I am between jobs at the moment. I am looking for work and have applied for a job I really want.
I don't go to church really. I don't think it is bad to go to church but I tend to keep God in my heart rather than go to a place just to sing about him with other people. After all Jesus did not go to a church. I used to go to church when I was younger and I went to a Church Of England high school so I learnt a lot about Christianity there (and Hinduism, Islam and Judaism too - it was a good school). I think God is here all the time and he does not need a special time or day for worship - people should worship when they want to.
I think sex should be something shared between people. If it is unprotected then it should be kept between a committed couple who want children. I am not at all against gay sex, my own sister is a lesbian. I myself do not want to have gay sex with someone. I am not in a sexual relationship at the moment but I have been in the past.
I think marriage is brilliant and is a nice way to make a commitment. It is handy to show legal union as well as spiritual union. I have never been married. Perhaps one day I will be, perhaps not.
My God is Jesus Christ. Jesus came from God to spread love on earth and promote peace and happiness.
I am of the opinion that most other religions are really good too and think they all have something to teach us. Most religions have very similar beliefs about how we should behave but people usually choose to ignore the love part and just kill others claiming this is righteous, I think this is insane.
"As soon as we lose the moral basis, we cease to be religious. There is no such thing as religion over-riding morality. Man, for instance, cannot be untruthful, cruel or incontinent and claim to have God on his side." - Gandhi.
As for heaven and hell, my ideas on these are complex and not entirely fixed yet. I am researching how Zoroastrainism fits in with the Old Testament of the Bible and this is affecting my views on the afterlife.
Anyway I hope this helps. E-mail me if you want any more info. I am always happy to help, I have studied some theology and know a bit about most religious topics.

I have done many things for a "living" in my life, so I will not state any particular thing. I worship God in Church. I do this by doing as he says to do. I am his child and as such I let him pick me up when I fall. I let him clean me off when I get dirty. I depend on him for everything I receive and I thank him for it. I forgive my fellow humans who have hurt me in any way and I ask for forgiveness for my own faults which are many.I think sex is wonderful! It is supposed to be that way too. It is also supposed to be wonderful with only your spouse and you are not to have sex with people who are not your spouse as you are actually given a chance to be co-creators in that you may create with God another life with an eternal soul. This is a huge responsibility. The idea of marriage is so that the two people can and do become one person , so much so that this is proved with the addition of a person who is the combination of the two put into one -- a child. This is what Christianity is really all about -- a marriage. Jesus marries us. The two become one. He dies because we die due to our sin but, we live because he rose from the dead and we are one with him.

I am Christian, and I am a stay at home mom. My husband, my children and I are all very active in our Church. I sing in the choir, my husband and I teach a 4-5 yr old children's program on wednesday nights. We go to church to worship God, to fellowship with other fellow christians, and to hear the bible preached. My views on sex and marrige line straight up with the views of God in the Bible. God designed marriage for man and woman only. Sex is a something that should be shared between husband and wife only. God intended sex to be special for the husband and wife as a way to show there love for eachother, as well as to make babies. God has always exisited, he created the heaven and the earth and everything there within. Heaven is where god resides and watched over us, along with Jesus, the angels, and all the peopld who have died and have accepted christ as his savior. Hell is a place of eternal torment and seperation from God. Anyone that lives on this earth that reaches the ages of accountablity (knows the difference between right and wrong) has a choice to make, and that choice is whether or not they accepts Jesus as their savior. He s the only way to Heaven.
I answered your question because you seemed genuinley sincere in your question and wanting to know more, I hope this has helped a little.
God Bless!

If you've read down this far, you must be looking for something...The only way I've looked at it as a "Christian" is Abraham's story...God thought he was "good" just because Abraham believed in Him...It was over 400 years before the 10 commandments and there was NO church to go to or rules to follow...Abraham just trusted God to hook him up when God promised him things.
"Love God with all your heart and love others as you would yourself"...Everything else folks do in the name of RELIGION is a waste of time...This answer upsets people that spend all their time in church and don't really know their creator at all.
If they actually read their bibles, they'd see that it's supposed to be that simple...But if I were the Devil I'd want the people representing God to be as far off of the ORIGINAL idea as possible...Attacking your enemy by sabotaging his training program while he's still in boot camp is a briliant idea.

Yes, I am a Christian, and have been for 37 years now.
I work for a Christian organisation called Teen Challenge, which is a Christian rehab, for those dealing with their drug or alcohol addiction. I head up a detox unit here in one of the centres in the Uk. I attend an Elim Pentecostal Church. I bring up two of my grandsons also aged 10 and 7.
I have been happily married for 32 years. I did not enter into a sexual relationship with anyone until I was married, as God's Word is important to me, and is my manual for living. Sexual relations with your marriage partner only, is what God expects of us, and He has good reasons for that. My children have been brought up in this stability, knowing that their parents live God's way.
Having a living relationship with God is wonderful. I look back over my life and see the hand that guided and planned. I am so grateful that I put my faith in God whilst I was young, as I have had the privilage of the benefits of knowing that even through the most difficult of times, and yes, I have had them, God has been my refuge and my strength, and a very present help in times of trouble.
One verse in Romans chapter 8 verse 28 says
For we know that all things work together for good, for those who love God, and are called according to His purpose.
Even in the midst of tragedy, and the most devastating of experiences, I know, that My God, has been working everything together for my good. - I have seen that happen so many times.

I am a vibration analyst.
I am Eastern Orthodox, but I do not go to Church.
God is trascendent, provides the energy that drives all change and all being in the universe.
Heaven and hell are the same thing. At the end of this age God will reveal his glory throughout the universe. Those who do good are energized by God and experience ontological union with him will experience 'heaven,' and those who do evil will experience 'hell.' There is good evidence in the writings of the Church fathers and the traditions of the Church to justify Universalism, or the idea that all human beings will be saved.
Scripture indicates that people do not have to be Christians to be saved, to know God, or to do good works.
The existence of God is logical, and can be demonstrated using a slightly modified form of Kurt Godel's ontological proof.
