I dry and straighten my hair often, and I need a good thermal protector, one that is lightweight, non greasy, non goopy, and one that smells good. Thanks in advance!

You do need some protection on your hair when using heated appliances, after all, you wouldnt sunbathe without cream on would you? But you dont nescessarily need a thermal spray. Leave in conditioners can work, but they can be too much for some hair types. Try and let your hair dry naturally as much as poss, and when you do use a hairdryer, use it on a cooler setting. When straightening, you can use a special spray or cream, serum, leave in conditioner or even hairspray to protect the hair. Ever seen smoke come off your hair when you straighten? Thats the moisture coming out your hair - if you coat it with one of the above, then the straighteners just burn off the product, although hairspray will clog your straighteners up. Try lots of different things, for at least a month, and see which one suits you best.
