Because, as a taxpayer, I'm not giving my hard earned money to build new schools and hire under-educated teachers just to waste their time on IDIOTS who would rather waste their time talking on the telephone instead of learning and become productive members of society...

The teacher is paid to talk to you. Your parents are paying through taxes or fees for you to listen. Any cell phone conversation you have in class distracts you, the people near you and the teacher. The conversation would probably be trivia to anyone else and in the longer or even short term, of no great importance to you. The best place for cell phones used in class is at the bottom of a bucket of salty water.

School regulations since 911 has gone bonkers. Kids have been suspended, or expelled for carring nail clippers and fingernail files, as these have been classified as weapons. What about sharpened pencils? Let us bring some sanity back to rules and regulations everywhere, not just in schools, but airports, etc.

they are extremely distracting. Kids are addicted to texting and can/ will do so constantly if they are allowed in class. that is worse than passing notes! and not to mention taking pix of tests and sending them to kids in other sections to look up answers in advance. Yes, many kids could be responsible enough to (like responsible adults) leave them in pockets/ purses during class, but plenty will not respect these rules. Best to outlaw them during school hours, or require them to be left in lockers.

I even do no longer understand about the country huge options, yet my college merely enables us to apply our phones in the previous and after college and at lunch. except that they are going to take it up in the adventure that they see it, it truly is really stressful because your mom and father ought to come back to the school and pay $20 bucks to get it decrease back. yet this doesnt stop human beings from texting throughout type.

cell phones shouldn't be used at school, because they can disrupt them from learning anything in school. and it can disturb the other students who want to learn . and if their phone keeps ringing it can be very annoying. You are there to learn not to talk on the phone.
