It is not a law. Laws are simple repeatable observations. It is the most extensive THEORY in all science with the most evidence. It is far to broad for any short answer. Start with the list of topics in this article and then move on.

(Note: some topics are not part of the theory of evolution, but only related subjects.)

ADDENDUM:
Information can be gained.

Woah Nelly! Not even a scientist would say "Law" of Evolution. It is a theory and a fairly decent one at that which should be taken seriously but necessarily as absolute.

Facts. Genetics was a field of study founded by a Benedictine monk. Mendel.

Darwin wrote "The Origin of Species" and dedicated it to Divine Providence.

Oh, did you want science stuff? Ask this under science.

Medicine and technology decrease the strength and viability of the human race by creating an artificial state of natural selection which allows individuals otherwise unfit to survive to live and reproduce. Hence, human being are essentially the weakest species in their ability to adapt to changes in their environment. Without the assistance of what we consider advancements we would die in the elements having lost our ability of primary survival.

Last I checked it was the THEORY of evolution. Survival of the fittest when you boil it down to the basics.

populations of organisms change over time, that is the main fact, everything else is really secondary to this (everything else is preoccupied with the mechanics of how this is possible)

Things Evolve Downward as they loose DNA information.
It is impossible that information be gained.

The Law of Evolution has nothing to do with Selective Breading.

the Law of Evolution has nothing to do with ADAPTATION!

""evolving organisms"" is a good example of Confusion!

First off, there is no "Law" of evolution.

It is all conjecture, guessing and theories.
