Whilst people search for the meaning of life, they often miss this very important profound truth!
Jesus also said," those who seek me shall find me, when they search for me with all their heart."
Simple - isn't it? Yet some people prefer to listen to hearsay, and skeptics, and philosophers. Jesus Christ God's Son has the answer for every individual. He is infinite God, man is finite. Take a step of faith today, and trust in Him. He has the answer to your every need!

I am aware that those words are written down in an old book that has been extensively copied, recopied, translated, edited and redacted over tens of 100's of years.

I am aware that the words were attributed to a person by the name of Jesus Christ, for whom there is no evidence of even existing outside the same dusty old book mentioned in my first paragraph.

It's ironic that you disparage "hearsay", and yet that is the entire substance of the bible. Some guy wrote down what some other guy told him somebody else had seen.

Man is indeed finite, but god is nonexistent.
I prefer cold reality to the warm fuzzies of blind faith.

Simple, isn't it?

Perhaps you should be made aware that you, along with a lot of other so-called Christians, have absolutely no idea what the life and death of Jesus was really all about. Stop "trusting and believing" in him, and start understanding the true purpose of his life and death on earth. We can all achieve the "Christ consciousness" that Jesus achieved. Not by worshipping him, but by living like him.

Jesus IS the truth ...he was ONE of the examples of truth....I have a picture of that supernatural man on my wall....I "love" Jesus...yet I am universal in my beliefs....Jesus was here over 2000 years ago....the world is much older than that......ok...that being said....wouldn't there be OTHER ways to God???....or maybe God don't call everyone through Jesus...I can say that Christianity is a very holy and devout religion....yet it is still highly misunderstood....there are many "braches" of Christianity...and all of those branches claim that they are the ones you should crawl out on....on the major "tree" called God....or by other names....God is more than Jesus....yes, Jesus was God's son...born of a virgin....I buy that....but I also buy the fact that God has many other "ways" and "truths" too....and to finalize....Jesus has many answers.....just look at the New Testament.....

God Bless...

Are you aware that the Bible was written by people who wanted to further various government agenda? More people have been killed in the name of Christianity than in any other religion known to man. How can a religion that is supposedly "the right one" be responsible for so much blood shed? Don't preach something just because it is written....do some research and then re-evaluate your belief - don't be brainwashed.

Very important prinicple here.

Otherwise, when He returns He will say, I never you you, get away from me! Did you know that?

What if they misheard or mistranslated him?

What if he said "I'm okay, call me Ruth, I want to be your wife?"

Easy to mistake the two.
