Scriptures on Demon possession?
Anyone, know about anyone who were possessed?

I agree that definitely contacting a pastor, priest, minister, elder, etc. would be a good first step because hopefully they will have the training to truly identify if the person is possessed. However, God gave us all the power to seek His grace and power. The most important thing is 1) Keep the faith in God and His Son. They are all-powerful and must obey the Son. 2) As was the case with the apostles in the Bible, some demons can only be dealt with by preparing yourself with an intense period of prayer AND fasting.

I have further info if interested. Definitely don't take it lightly, though. You can receive the power to deal with them through God's grace but it may not be an easy road.

First you have to determine if one is possessed by another entity and not just ill. I was told you place your hand on their chest and back. If you feel heat, there is another entity within. I would pray and ask our Highest Power to handle it. One never knows what entity is involved as any two spirits can bond. It may be a lost soul
that only needs Gods Love.

I listened to a exorcism once where the Rosary was being prayed and he was screaming Stop it Stop it, I hate that woman , Stop it! It gave fuel to the rite and it really bothered the demon because she is The Woman spoken of in Genesis. When God said "I will enmity between you and THE WOMAN" This is what was meant and this is why Jesus referred to his Mother as WOMAN instead of Mother like a normal person who honored his Mother would do. Jesus honored his Mother by showing people that she was THE WOMAN of Scripture.

A mature servant of Christ can order them out in the name of Jesus Christ. Once gone the person they inhabited should replace the vacancy with Christ. (in other words become a Christian) and study the Word and make honest effort to serve God in Spirit and in Truth. Sincerely.

Usually such a thing is caused by playing with occult practices.

Yes, there have been demon possesions. One was where a man was like an animal, and Jesus came and cast Satan out. There is another where a kid was drooling and foaming and ready to violently attack anyone that came near. The boy was like 7, and he even wanted to hurt his mom. And there was another where a group of pigs were like wild boar, and were going on a crazy rampage. Jesus or an apostle cast Satan out each time.

I have been around the spiritual side of things like this for a while now, and that would be my advice...It's not something to play around with, or attempt unless you know for sure, without a doubt God has called you to. At which time, once again contact the above for guidance.

I really don't recommend looking it up, or getting into it until you have done the above...
