Both of my tattoo's revolve around my daughter. The first is her name surround by stars. The second is her birthdate with the day/month/year seperated with stars. I'm just curious as to what some of your themes are!!!!

My leg has been injured badly 2x so I got bionics tattooed on my leg becuz it keeps getting fixed and keeps going. I have a rose and some butterflies(still need more butterflies) and that is my family. One butterfly for each person in my family that has passed on. My lock on my chest is for the love of my life. Many more so i would say that all mine have meaning of some kind.

It is completely up to you. Some people do like the thought of themes and everything flowing together, but many others believe all tattoos should represent you.

I have a huge star theme (sorta like a milky way) going on my back. Ever since I was a little girl I was facinated with Stars. Both the shape & the stars in the sky. I have 13 total 5 point stars on my back, surrounded with pixie dust & starlites. 13 is my lucky/favorite number. And I love stars. I also have 3 stars behind each of my ears.

My tattoos have to do with the balance and harmony in nature. I have a hlf sun half moon that represents with out darkeness we can not have light.

Above that, I have a modified Celtic tree of life because everything in nature is all related to one another, and with out the light/dark balance, we would not exist.

Then I have a Celtic butterfly to represent change. It is Celtic because even though you can change, you are still bound to your past.

It is an entire back piece.

I read a lot and my love of books is all consuming. That being said...My favorite genre is fantasy, so I have a dragon on my right arm (closest to my heart). Next month I am going to have a Sci/Fi Space theme done on my right arm to represent my love of that genre of fiction.

My tattoo's are sun, moon/stars, dolphins in waves, and tropical flowers so they are all the things I love and related to travel in a way as well.

My tatoo is the symbol for courage and it's on my foot. I've gone through a lot of things in my life and my tatoo is to represent the courage that it takes and has taken to overcome and keep going.

Mine are all about the various parts of my psyche, the pursuit of self knowledge and visually representing finding the way through life and gaining wisdom...whilst all the time being grounded and comfortable with who I am at any one time. They're all very symbolic to me
