It might not make you taller.... that's genetics but being healthy may help that along. Note that people generally tend to be taller nowdays even within families because of better diet and nutrition through the growing years.

Martial arts are the best. Yes faster, stonger and with a better all around health. Think of it this way, those who lift weights all of the time do become stronger. But they sacrifice speed, endurance and mobility and once they stop lifting they break down fast.

Martial arts combine aerobics, build strength and endurance. Being able to apply force the right way and be flexible is way more important than just lifting something. I was in the Army for a very long time. The guys who are all bulky for bulkies sake fall out the fastest. Part of this also is that martial arts teach the mind as well as the body.

And as an aside..... you will find out that women like a guy who is fit and trim..... not so bulky that he looks self absorbed on his abs or whatnot.

All of us start somewhere go for it, Now there's a publication i'm trying to acquire & could also be of worth to simply glance-learn if you'll find at any place ''martial arts for dummies'' it looks to have essentially all of the average information usual posters here throw out. Avert mcdojos base alternative on first-rate of instruction/locality/fee and so forth there is not any satisfactory kind activity arts don't seem to be the identical as strictly self-defence arts MMA isn't the tip all neither is Muay Thai or BJJ and many others and many others sincerely just post & SEARCH questions here while you accumulate information & the more skilled practicioners can support you & would be glad to (offering it is not simply an additional 1 of hundreds and hundreds of questions that a search would supply solutions too)

it depends how hard you try. you can do martial arts for years and won't get stronger. it can make you faster by reaction if thats what you mean and can make you stronger but definetily not taller.

Maybe faster and stronger, but your height is determined by heredity, and there is NOTHING you can do about that.
