If you have an exception, please state it and then vow you will not delete anyone for any other reason.

The reason I ask for this truce. "I was just deleted for saying I was having a bad hair day, and that I didn't care what a religion does unless they want to kill me for not belong to it."

I am a retired federal investigator, and I could find out who deleted me. But, my religion specifically forbids me from taking revenge on anyone.

Dear "dev" - I know what you mean. But, If I get revenge on them, then I will find myself trying to get revenge on my wife, when she makes me feel bad (when she is having a bad hair day)--- And then she would retalliate, and on and on.

Uncle Wayne, I totally agree with you. You have alway been friendly to everyone. Some of my dumbass quips that should be deleted aren't. Some of my benign comments and questions are. I concur with you.

My smart *** answers get deleted all the time. It's not like I delete the stupid questions. I am with you on freedom of speech. Ask whatever you want. Answer however you want. My "truce" won't help you much because I'm not a self appointed Internet Officer. I sure hope you figure out that hair.

I agree with you. A person does not have to agree with the question being asked, nor the answer being given. The wonderful thing about these forums is that we all have the freedom to express our views. If we all thought alike, then would would be the point in asking and answering questions?

We should not delete someone unless they have violated the terms of service of this website. I reported someone simply because he kept sending me hateful e-mails, simply because he didn't agree with my answer which was directed at Christians. Since the question was directed at Christians, then I, a Christian, answered the question, and this guy, an atheist apparently, who had a beef with all Christians, kept sending me hateful and angry e-mails because he went to a Christian-based question and didn't like my Christian answer. My reporting him was justified. We should allow each other to express differing viewpoints, even when we don't agree with them, and refrain from reporting them simply because we don't like their answer or them. You have a valid point.

You would not be taking revenge to challenge the improper report of violation. Your answer was genuine. You are within your right to file a John and Jane Doe lawsuit against the person that improperly reported the false violation, and issuing a subpoena to Yahoo for the identity of the false accuser, then amend your complaint to contain the true name of the false accuser, and have them served to appear in your state court. Obtain judgment against false accuser, then domesticate the award in their state court and seize whatever assets they may have. You will have struck a blow for freedom of speech, and will not have violated any law of god.

If no one stand up for their rights, soon no one will have any. It's up to you how you handle those that hold a knife to your throat.

I think unless you totally agree with someones jibber jabber, they Will flag or give you a thumbs down, because they need total affirmation that you agree with what ever garbage they have to say. That of course gives you a whole new aspect of freedom of speech in the free and democratic world!

sorry, about your bad hair day!

The only posts I report are the ones with pornographic avatars that actually violate federal obscenity standards.

Are you saying there is NO reason one should be barred? I have reported 3 that I thought were blasphemous. One had an avatar that would have been appropriate for an ACT UP parade!
