my mom swares by rubbing alcohol.
I like witch hazel *not everyone has this*
Toothpaste to dry up zits. Dab some on, leave on overnight. But make sure its a paste and not a gel. It should be thick.

A dab of toothpaste is good for reducing a spot, but I don't think you can do this on the entire face - just a few problem zits.
I've found witchhazel to be fantastic - just dab it with cotton wool.
Some people have told me tea tree oil is good. You're supposed to be able to use it neat, but it burnt my skin when I dabbed it straight on, so it might be worth mixing it with a carrier oil such as almond oil if you find it 'caustic'.
Hope this helps.

toothpaste is supposed to clear up zitz. also, you might try not eating so much sugar, washing your face at night and in the morning. if you just do this, you should be a lot better off.
