i think people misunderstand their religion cause mine teaches that its good to share our religion but we should let people believe what they want

also some religious leaders are out of hand and contradict the bible when they say certain things. it has nothing to do with what the religous actually believes

Agree. Political, economical, race and religious intolerance is the base for the evils works in the planet.

"Evil" is a mental construct. Nobody and nothing is inherently ANYTHING. Even people who lack tolerance are not inherently intolerant. People who lack tolerance tend to cause harm and such things bring suffering, but they're not inherently evil, nor are their acts necessarily evil. Some good can come from things you normally perceive as "evil".

Religion isn't the fault, but rather the psychological make-up and causes and conditions from a person's life. If a person is basically altruistic then they're going to approach their religion as such, if a person tends to be angry all the time or has a psychological issue that causes them to be anti-social and such, then much of what they do will likely refect that, including their "religion", and they're more likely to use religion as a justification for harmful behavior.

I agree, at least regarding religious conflicts. But most of the world's evil has nothing to do with religion or tolerance. It has to do with propaganda and governments that demonize specific groups in order to fund the war machine.

The truth brings salvation. The error of pagan religions causes friction. Churchianity (paganism pretending it is true belief) causes confusion. As Twain said, we have the fools on our side, and that is a big enough majority in any town.

If we were truly doing what Jesus asked of us there would not be as much violence,but it would still come from rival unbelieving nations, so I guess we will never be totally violence free.
