I am 18 years old but I weight 101. I eat a lot of food because I love food. But I love to dance and exercise a lot in the day time because I feel less stress and happy when I exercise. I think that dancing and exercising it's what makes me skinny.

Do you think I'm skinny for my age?

Doing lots of dancing and exercise will make you slimmer than if you don't do any, but - as you said - it also makes you feel good, so there's no reason to stop!
If you eat a lot but still don't gain weight, don't worry. It's to do with your metabolism. Yours is probably faster than most people's, which is why you can eat a lot without any effects.
I'd have to know your height to work out whether you were skinny or not. If you're anywhere from about 4 foot 6 to about 5 foot 2, 101 pounds (I'm assuming pounds, not kilos?) is a perfectly acceptable weight. However, if you're taller than that, you are underweight, yes.

EDIT: As other people have also said, it has to do with your bone structure as well, and the ratio of muscle to fat in your body. Calculating by your basic BMI, you're a little bit underweight, but I don't think you have anything to worry about. See your doctor if you are worried, though.

I am 17 and weigh and also weigh 101. I have talked to my doctor about this a few months ago, because I was worried too. She said that as long as my periods were regular, I ate well, and exercised, that I am healthy and have nothing to worry about. She told me I just have an extremely high metabolism. She said that the only issue that may arise is that it might be difficult for me to become pregnant, but not to worry about this too much.

I think you are probably right.

Here is an old rule of thumb to remember regarding weight.

100 lbs for 5 ft of height

plus 5 lbs for every inch over 5 ft.

That means you are 19 lbs underweight. But as you age the weight will begin to stay. You can afford to be thin at your age.

I think it all depends on how tall you are and what size skeleton you have.101 is good for a shorter person around 5 feet or a little taller

That seems extremely skinny, but I guess it depends on how tall you are. I wouldn't say you were anorexic because you love food, but a little more probably wouldn't hurt! Eat a whole bag of Doritos and Krispy Kreme for me! <3

are your mother and/or father slim? then u may have inherited their genes. u might have a very high metabolism. but excersing and dancing will have an effect on your size tho. but for your age? more like for your height are u skinny. if u under 5' 2" then no u aint that skinny.

I can't say without knowing how tall you are and what your bone structure is. If you are active and you eat well, you are probably within the normal weight range. Exercising balances things out if you like to eat alot so you're most likely just fine...

it depends on how tall you are... if you are short than that is alright (you should be at least 110 at eighteen though) but if your tall then you have a problem i personally think you should be at least 110 to avoid looking anerexic but its good that your exercise just make sure you get your 3 meals in
