Is it ok to recycle these envelops with other white office paper? Or do they belong to the garbage bin?

Those envelops are so frustrating!
I separate the plastic from the paper...either cut it out with scissors if ripping it out is too 'messy'. Recycle the envelope and unfortunately add the plastic to the garbage bin.

That's what I do anyways.
Hope that helps.

The plastic would be a contaminant.

You should either remove the plastic window before recycling or dispose of the plastic window envelope in a garbage bin.

Putting plastic windowed envelopes in with recyclable paper can render the entire batch unusable.

I asked our recycling guy a year ago, and he said it's just fine to leave the windows in.
