Certainly, all men are subject to the influence of opposition. Any follower of Christ should be sensitive to the fallacies and abilities of men.
Anyone who denies he could be misled by the teachings of men is in direct conflict with the teachings of Christ and off track with the plan of happiness.
Fortunately, we have a loving father who has made the way sure and has given to all men the light of Christ (conscience) from birth that we may discern good from evil. If we remain true to that light and foster our ability to discern truth we progress. If we depart from that light and lose integrity, we diminish that ability and eventually are left to the rationalization of man's faulty wisdom.
Noone should blindly accept any teachings of man.
God stands ready to make our path sure, we decide whether we will follow or not.

Dear Mr. Know it all, how nice it must be to be so much more informed than the rest of us Lemmings. You make statements that are completely untrue. The Trinity is a reality so don't try to explain it away by saying it is a doctrine of confusion etc.Maybe it is beyond you so therefore deny it. Take a look at John 1, In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Then look at verse 14 , and the word became flesh and dwelt among us. Now that's not too hard is it? Why did they crucify Christ ? because the Jews accused Him of blasphemy for claiming He was God, "I and my Father are one", either it is true or Christ was a Lunatic. I tend to believe it since Christ demonstrated His Deity by rising from the dead, anyone else done that ? Yes Christ was seen by over 500 over a 40 day period after His Resurrection. Christ was recorded also by the Jewish historian Josephus in his book "Antiquities of the Jews", He was also written about by the Roman historians Tacitus and Suetonius. I'd suggest you do a little more research.

Avoid Being Deceived
DECEPTION is almost as old as mankind. One of the first events in recorded history was an act of deception. That was when Satan deceived Eve in the garden of Eden.—Genesis 3:13; 1 Timothy 2:14.
Although there has never been a time since then when deception was not rampant in the earth, it is particularly prevalent today. Looking forward to modern times, the Bible warned: “Wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse, misleading and being misled.”—2 Timothy 3:13.
People are deceived for all kinds of reasons. Tricksters and confidence men deceive victims to get their money. Some politicians deceive their constituents, determined to stay in power at any cost. People even deceive themselves. Rather than face unpleasant truths, they convince themselves that there is no harm in pursuing dangerous practices, such as smoking, drug abuse, or sexual immorality.
Then there is deception in religious matters. The religious leaders of Jesus’ day deceived the people. Of those deceivers, Jesus said: “Blind guides is what they are. If, then, a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14) Moreover, people deceive themselves in religious matters. Proverbs 14:12 states: “There exists a way that is upright before a man, but the ways of death are the end of it afterward.”
As in Jesus’ time, many today are deceived in religious matters and no wonder! The apostle Paul said that Satan “has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.”—2 Corinthians 4:4.
If we are deceived by a swindler, we lose money. If a politician deceives us, we may lose some of our freedom as a result. But if Satan deceives us so that we reject the truth about Jesus Christ, we lose out on everlasting life! So avoid being deceived. Open your mind and heart to the one indisputable source of religious truth, the Bible. There is too much at stake to do otherwise.—John 17:3.
In the first century C.E. When Saul of Tarsus headed for Damascus in his campaign of persecuting Christians, the city had a number of Jewish synagogues. (Ac 9:1, 2) It evidently then formed part of the domain of Nabataean King Aretas IV and was ruled by an appointed governor. (2Co 11:32, 33) After his conversion, blinded Saul was led to a home on the street called Straight.
SAUL OF TARSUS was very sincere in his religion when he persecuted true Christians even “to the death.” (Acts 22:4; 26:10, 11) But he did this in ignorance. (1 Timothy 1:13) Many sincere but religiously blinded persons today are just like Saul and oppose true Christianity. But even as Saul became a Christian after learning the truth, many today are turning away from false religion and embracing the true faith.

So Jesus was throwing His voice at His baptisim from John? When a voice came from heaven saying "This is my beloved Son"?
Or when Thomas said to Jesus,"My Lord and my God"?,and when Peter told Annanias and Safira in Acts chapter 5 that they had lied to the Holy Spirit,"and you have not lied to man but to God".?and that in Collosians 1 that God created all things through Jesus? and John 1 "In the beginning was the Word(Jesus) and the Word was with God and the Word WAS God"? That's all mistranlations I'm sure in your demented thinking. You're a genius and all the scholars for 2000 years needed you to straighten them out, right?Let all men be liars and let God be true. That's why God chose the Jew to be His oracle(record keeper) because the Romans ,Greeks ,Persians,Baylonians,Egyptians and Summerians, they all got it wrong.Only the Jew was finicky enough to keep the scriptures accurate. It's like the doctrine of the Rapture, the word isn't used but Paul teaches it in I Thessalonians ,"Caught Up " is the phrase. The Greek word is "Harpazo" translated by Jerome to Latin it is "Rapturo",from Latin to English it is "Rapture" it still means the same thing.

The doctrine of the Trinity is indeed founded in the Bible-Old and New Testaments. It is impossible to read through the Bible and ignore the numerous verses which clearly state the Divinity of Father,Son&Holy Spirit.Paul was an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God and as such was a revealer of God's truth. The doctrine of the Trinity was believed by the apostles and the early Church. It is only our recent worldy churches and cults which deny this doctine.Father,Son&Holy Spirit are said by the entire Bible to possess characteristics&powers&names which only God could have. The doctrine of the Trinity is first seen in Genesis Chapter 1 and is taught throughout the Bible to the end of the Book of Revelations. It is not I who has turned to a secular source in an attempt to verify my beliefs,it is you.I couldn't care less what the Encyclopedia Britannica states regarding Biblical doctrines because I base my beliefs on the Bible itself and what it clearly teaches. It was before Paul-as Saul-was converted that he was mislead into legalism. The Jews understood that God,His Spirit&His Word were 3 different "Persons" while simultaneously understanding that there is but one true God.Genesis 1 clearly shows God the Father,Son and Holy Spirit involved in creation.John 1 clearly states that everything was created through Jesus Christ as does Colossians 1.Either the Bible is lying,it is contradicting itself-both of which are impossible-or the Trinity of God is a Biblical doctrine.Read through the OT and see how many times the Almighty Creator literally appeared in physical form to those people of that era.Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Hagar, Gideon etc.Read Zech.12 and explain to me how it is possible for the Almighty God to be literally pierced and when this occurred, unless Jesus Christ was indeed God in the flesh.Read the OT and see how many times God claims to be the only Saviour and that He alone provides salvation and the forgiveness of sins.See how many times God states He will not ever share His glory with another. Then read the NT and see how many times Jesus Christ is called our only Saviour and forgives sins and how many times He shares equally in God's glory.Instead of resorting to secular sources for your doctines you should be sticking to only the Bible.
PS. Humans are also a trinity-created in the image of God; body, soul&spirit.Yet we are each one person, are we not?Yet these 3 are 1

You are talking about the Nicene Creed, formulated by the Council of Nicea in about 385 A.D. And you are correct on this point. It is a compromise made to appease the Roman emperor Constantine, who gave the council a deadline to agree on the nature of God. So like any good committee, they argued till the day before the deadline and presented the majority consensus.
Not the teachings of the new testament. Thanks for bring it up. Best of luck.

This is 1John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Your asumption of what this scripture is telling us is wrong. You assume way too much and know so little. God is telling us in this scripture that this world is filled with satan's ways that the majority of this world is doing which is lusting after the flesh, and pride that is of themselves and not of God. It is talking about the sins of the flesh that is of satan and not of the Father who is God. Why drag Paul into this misconception when it is YOU who is decieved by satan with your false interpretation of the Word of God. Paul knew exactly what God was saying. And you are a liar and a false prophet!
These next scriptures descript you.
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Try reading and posting exactly what these scriptures from Mark 7:6-13 are actually talking about. Because it is not what you say it is. It speaks of men like you going and creating your own doctrines and teaching them in place of God's doctrines.
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
2 Timothy 4:1-5 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
quick
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
People do not listen to the lies this person is telling you. He is serving satan and not God! You cannot pick up the Bible and expect to undertand what God is saying to you if you do not believe in Him or obey Him.
Psalms 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
This man who posted these lies to us is not a righgeous man. He is trying to mislead you. Don't fall for it!

possibly it has to do with the terror of lack of life and that when you're incorrect you'll finally end up in a fiery broth of Hell soup. that can make me ask your self what style of God you're rejecting. i'm a Christian yet Hell and devils have not something to do with my perception. Why style of God is that. i understand God isn't something it truly is meant to scare you. user-friendly techniques to unravel that is via prayer. examine a e book pronounced as Mere Christianity via CS Lewis it truly is a short user-friendly examine that makes an difficulty for God and Christ. it ought to help you to re-evaluate the question and understand God and how he works.

To not be deceived we need to get close to God. Get filled with the Holy Ghost and do what He shows us (it WILL agree with the Bible).
