Whenever I try to minimize a program it takes a really long time how do I get the programs to act normal again

You may have too many programs going on, which in turn can cause the RAM on your computer to be used up. On the other hand, you could have some spyware, or a virus which is causing your computer to slow down. It's hard to tell without more information.

Hi, I''d tell you first to install a program like "regcleaner" so you start to make a bit of cleaning of the registry and you can also choose what programs you don't want to run at start up which is not so good for a pc, then, try with a spyware or antivirus software to scan yo' pc and find an eventual problem or in the end you can try to take yo' pc back in time with the following procedure "start=>all programs=>accessories(tools, I don't know, I'm italian)=>system utilities=>restore system configutation and then choose a date in which yo' pc was kinda fine.
