Always quote your souce of statistics, otherwise very few
intelligent people will believe you...
87% of people with an IQ over 100 do not believe statistics
quoted without source.....( I just made that up )
More to the point however...
I do believe that there is a considerable number of married
people on dating sites but probably not many more than you
would find at any bar or club in town...

No what is sick is most of the people really believe that something special will happen between them. And they get all confused and then wonder why their home life is so messed up.If people would put as much effort into their own relationship that they already have,as they do with the lies that they tell people online, life would be much better for everyone. So remember to be yourself and just stop lying, because you are only lying to yoursef.

Whats the difference - all and I mean all- of my friends have been asked out by and dated men who they later found out were married. They all meant them the "old fashioned way". It doesnt take long to take off a wedding ring. A few of them were involved w the men for months before they learned the truth. One guy even kept an apt his wife didnt know about so he had his own "bachelor" pad.

Or perhaps people should quitting getting married just because they have butterflies in their stomach and think the guy is so great, when they hardly know the person.

Date for at least a year, then consider engagement. Have a long engagement, get to really know the person, then get married.

I'm pretty sure the percentage is a lot higher than 48%. I do agree, though, I believe the pursuit of a mate should revert back to pre-computer days.

No, I didn't know that. I know people are rarely ever satisfied, even when they get JUST what they "wanted" or were searching for. The nerve!
