This is a hard situation. I have found that no matter what age your dealing with it seems to be the same. NO matter your imput to the person you are trying to reach out to they seem to do what they CHOOSE to do no matter what. And that is okay because sometimes this is what is needed for that person to learn. Often times we will see them make the same mistakes over and over and they still do not learn and we find ourselves trying to tell them the same thing over and over.
In saying this i would be there for her to listen and be the shoulder she cries on when and if things do not work out. And of course if she asks for adivce give it to her even if what you say does not really sink in. However, if she is doing something that could potentially be dangerous to her or somebody else then you must take action in whatever way necessary.

I would suggest that you let her figure it out for herself. I know that sounds mean but that is an important life lesson that she needs to learn and it is best learned by making mistakes. If something gets dangerous, then you should intervene but otherwise she will live and learn, then move on.

In all my life - and all the times my friends have made stupid decisions - they have never listened to me when I warned them about the outcome. They'll either get angry or just go and do it anyways. And when I end up being right they defend their right to make mistakes. So I dont bother anymore - if they want to ruin their lives they can do it themselves. If you think your friend will listen go ahead - but Im telling you - usually they've already got their mind set on what they want to do.

If she's a true friend, you have a right to express your concerns for her well being. All you can do be supportive, help her rationalize her situation, and let her know you care. It's up to her what decisions she makes for her own life. Preventing someone to make mistakes doesn't really help them learn life lessons, but you can offer your opinion and let her decide how to act or react.

try finding statistics online about those who fall into sceams and are harmed or even murdered by those that have found a "mate" online. let her know why you are concerned. don't through acusations, just share your concern and listen to her. If you truely feel he is a threat talk to the parents or law officials. They should be able to help. Good luck.

I think that you should tell her but in a nice way. Do it by a note or something. And if she is really your friend then she would respect your feelings.

Well she should realize it by herself but you can tell her and maybe lose her as a friend, maybe. But she will not listen just be there for her if something happens and that's the best thing to do for her. But you can talk to her about it but she will not listen.
