No Jesus is not the one true God. He is the Son of God. God would not come down to earth in human form, and if he did, he would have made sure EVERYONE would have known it. There is so much confusion about if Jesus is or isn't God. Anybody wonder why? The idea of the trinity did NOT even come into existence until years after Jesus resurrection. I think if Jesus was God his disciples would have known this and they would have made sure the people knew it for sure. The trinity idea comes from Paganism with their three headed gods.

No I do not believe that Jesus was God in the flesh for many reasons.
- he was a man
- he worked for a living
- he had a wife and kids
- he was tortured and crucified
What really gets me though is what was so geat about the people back then that made them deserve God in the flesh. What about here and now. So called "end times" don't ya think now would be a good time for God to wander the earth with bill collectors and such. Start a reality show "12 Guys With Links To The Sky". Then theres the whole Constantine thingy to consider. I could go on and on.......

Why would God sacrifice himself? Because He loves us & it is the only way our sins can be forgiven, with a perfect sacrifice. One way to perhaps help understand how Jesus was God in flesh, think about that being one manifestation of God, the same as the Holy Spirit is another manifestation who comes to live in believers hearts.

At John 17:3, Jesus said his Father was the only true God who had sent him (Jesus) to earth. So, no. Jesus was not God in the flesh. 1 Tim. 3:16 is a mistranslation from the KJB. Most newer translations say "he who" instead of "God. " To say Jesus is God and his own Son at the same time is downright stupidity.

Jesus is God's son. They're not the same person. The Holy spirit is God's active force.
WHY, for thousands of years, did none of God's prophets teach his people about the Trinity? At the latest, would Jesus not use his ability as the Great Teacher to make the Trinity clear to his followers? Would God inspire hundreds of pages of Scripture and yet not use any of this instruction to teach the Trinity if it were the "central doctrine" of faith?
Jesus, in his prehuman existence, was "the first-born of all creation." (Colossians 1:15, NJB) He was "the beginning of God's creation." (Revelation 3:14, RS, Catholic edition). "Beginning" [Greek, ar·khe'] cannot rightly be interpreted to mean that Jesus was the 'beginner' of God's creation. In his Bible writings, John uses various forms of the Greek word ar·khe' more than 20 times, and these always have the common meaning of "beginning." Yes, Jesus was created by God as the beginning of God's invisible creations.

Jesus is indeed God.
Jesus received worship on several occasions where men and angels rebuked others for worshiping them; so they should because none should be worshiped except God alone. Jesus own statement says to those who understood the significance of His words that He is claiming to be God when He said. "Before Abraham was, I Am!" The "I Am" was a declaration of deity. When Moses asked God “Who shall I say sent me?” God told his to say that “I Am” has sent you. That’s why the Jews were so angry, How can a man claim to be God. As He told the disciples (Thomas specify) "If you have seen Me you have seen the Father" and again "I and the Father are one”. Reading Hebrews will give you a good understanding too concerning this; that He being God is the author and finisher of our faith. Through Him (Christ - God) the world and all creation was made.
(Being God)Why did Jesus become man and intercede?
A. He is God but He is also Man. He interceded as a Man. He was are substitute in all areas that Adam (Man) fell. Jesus was triumphant.
Isa 59:16 And He saw that there was no man, and He was astonished that there was no intercessor. And His own arm saved for Him; and His righteousness sustained Him.
God's plan was to have a righteous and holy, sanctified people but Adam and all man through Adam where corrupt but this did not stop God from having a Holy people. If All man cannot give Him the fruit of righteousness required then He (As the Arm) would give the very thing that He required as our substitute. He is the perfect man as well and perfect God and all this for us. For it is the Fathers Good pleasure to give us the kingdom. Through the intercessor the man who was no mere man but very God of Very God.

Yes I do believe that Jesus was God in the flesh.
God is triune
God the Father,
God the Son
and
God the Holy Spirit.
All three are part of the God head but have different functions.
Just like water can be
fluid
ice
and
steam
but they are all H20
all have different functions
So Jesus was God manifest in the flesh.

Yes I believe this. He (Jesus) sacrificed Himself to save us from our sins. Don't go talking about more than you know. All these questions are answered in the Bible but a person like you would rather taunt other people and waste space on the Internet to get a good laugh than to actually go learn a thing or two.

Hi Clair,as I understand it when our first parents who represented the whole human race disobeyed God and fell from innocence, the offence was so great that humanity could not restore that which was lost.
God promised to restore His fallen creatures Himself as only God could restore fallen innocence, to enable this to happen God had to send His Son Jesus to take upon Himself the punishment that was due to humanity as a whole.
Jesus chose to become as one of us in order to restore the imbalance and also chose to do it as one of us,as a human being.
Jesus by God`s mysterious power became exactly like us by being born of Mary, but unlike us He was without sin,and so He could represent us and take our just punishment for us, as Adam who was the head of the human race rebelled against God and lost his purity and innocence, then Jesus became the new Adam and by His humility and perfect obedience restored the immbalance by His death sacrifice.
Sorry Clair if this is not very clear, but it is the best I can do as I am not a Theologian, or the most learned of Christians.
