sounds like prejudice. I'm so sorry you have to experience this. You beleive differently than your school, so all the teachers bash you for religion. Been there (even though I am Christian. Have been bashed for my beliefs as well). Forget what they say about you as a person, because most of them don't know your soul as you do, and the ones that love you. When responding, be respectful still, because being disrespectful would only give them reason to discourage you.

People who are cruel and hate are ignorant and arrogant about agnostics and atheists. I read a lot of broad-brush commentary about atheists in here and find it rather amusing. Most of it is sheer not knowing what they're attacking. As a Buddhist, and atheist by default, I'm always quite amused but I take it all in stride. We Buddhists have a concept to calm the mind about such things which is akin to some saying "consider the source"... it's understanding that people and their emotions and actions all arise due to causes and conditions and some come from serious causes and conditions that would make you wonder.
Cultivate a calm mind... they can't hurt you mentally if you don't "let them". Now if it gets physical... that's a matter for law enforcement.

True Christians shouldn't discriminate you. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. But if your teacher is telling you that you are a bad person, tell your parents! That's illegial!
Although many of these ultra-conservative Christians are hypocrites & look down on everyone not identical in beliefs to them, I hope you kno not all of us are like that. I'm actually ashamed to have such intolerant people in my religion.
Next time someone says something to you, ask them what Bible verse said that it was right to tell a student they were a bad person because they believe differently. It should put them on the spot.

quite some persons have a brilliant style of faith and no faith, and others have a powerful faith yet no faith. some Christians look to place down atheists as an ungainly attempt at evangelism... as though attacking somebody's ideals is the thank you to win them over! As for stereotyping as Christian/Catholic haters, some atheists manage those of with a powerful faith as deluded Neandertals, which does no longer bypass away room for smart communication the two. you assert you have no longer have been given any faith. Does this recommend you have made a unsleeping determination, or is it which you in simple terms have not felt the want? i do no longer experience any hostility on your question. i wish no one throws any your way.

Firstly don't judge all Christians that way.Just because at school they do doesn't mean that all Christians think Atheists and agnostics are stupid. Secondly on behalf of every christian I say I am sorry if you are getting that from your school. it may be out of ignorance of your beliefs. Confront your teachers about this problem. They should not be discriminating against you because of your religion. they may not even know they are doing it so confront them with due respect of course!!!

I am not agnostic or atheist. I am Christian, but it is still wrong if the teachers are doing that. You should look into that because that is harrasment. But please do not catagorize us all like that. I do not hate anybody. Hope you solve your problem!

Are your parents non-believers too. I am asking because you should tell them about what your teachers are doing. This is harassment.
They hate us because we are not believers. We are on the "dark side". we are evil to them. However they are the ones who are treating you badly.
Also , I really hate to say this but.... Perhaps you should downplay your personal beliefs while you are underage. Especially if you live in an area that is rural and you are a definite minority. Someday you will be more prepared to stand up to these kind of people.
REALLY, Tell Your Parents

Just ignore them, when you are out of school what they say will have no meaning in your life. Be happy knowing who you are, and having the beliefs you do, no one can take that away from you. You are free to be an agnostic, just like they are free to be Christian.

When you say "Christians hate atheists and agnostics", do you realize you are making very broad generalizations??
You really think ALL people who say they are Christians really hate ALL athiests and agnostics?
If they do, then they are not following the teachings of Jesus the Christ.
