Yes, absolutely. He might not want to do anything, even now, because of your ex. Some people get really possessive about that.
I think it would be okay, but be aware that it could be a problem either for your ex or this other guy.

It depends on how strong the attraction is. Do you still have feelings for her? If so, of course you'll be happy to hear from her. If you don't really think about her much then her phone call wouldn't matter much. I think that if you really feel strongly about this girl then tell her. Life is too short to just wonder what would happen if you told her. What's the worst that could happen? She won't talk to you? You've gone 11 months without talking to her so you already know you can handle that. At least if you tell her how you feel you will know that you tried no matter what the outcome is. I was totally smitten with a guy but I didn't have the nerve to tell him. It took me 7 months to talk to him and now we are 5 months from our wedding.

Maybe. It depends on whether he did really like the girl, or was just being nice. Since so much time has passed it is quite possible that the "being friends with the ex" might not be as much of a concern. It never hurts to contact someone. It usually pretty easy to tell if they are happy to hear from you or not.

hmm 11 months? It all depends on the person. If you're someone who moves on quickly and if nothing ever really happened with this girl then yes I would remember her, but I wouldnt think much of it.

I would be a little suspicious 11 mths. is a long time for her to finally remember that night, or i might think she wanted to give him time to get over the ex think.
