That is a big one! Perhaps you should just be friends. If you can not compromise, there is going to be some problems once the love flower closes a little bit.
Evaluate why he likes the night life still. My guess is that the night life includes the party scene and dance clubs etc?
Since he is new, you should not have too much of a time breaking it down to just a friendship. I am being objective because that is what you need before it is too late o.k.

Im in the same situation with my boyfriend he loves to go out but id much prefer to stay in, just compromise a little, You go out a few times with him and he stays in a few nights with you. Its worked really well for us and were still together 10 years later.

My best suggestion is for you both to compromise. If you like to stay in plan a night in filled with things you both will enjoy,ex. watching a movie, making dinner together, playing games, listening to music. You can also let him see why you like to stay in by showing him what you like to do when you stay home. Then let him plan a night out filled with things that you both enjoy like dinner out, dancing, having drinks at a fun bar, etc. Or, let him plan a night out and show you what he likes to do at night when he goes out. It's all about learning what each other enjoys, respecting it, and coming to a compromise.

Shake your thang on the dance floor.
If you don't go out.. You don't know what you're missing... Your bf could be flirting with other girls! So get out there... Let them know he's taken.. Unless he's ugly.. Then I wouldn't worry. He's probably pretending that he has a social life. He probably is ugly... So that would make you ugly. Sheesh.. You have a tough life.

Fine a happy medium. Maybe a few nights you can go out with him and the other few nights you guys can stay in.

you have to find a compromise for this to work, he should understand that you don't like night life like many people, and you should also try to understand where he's coming from, agree to go out with him one night a week...
let him go out a boys night out another night, and let him respect your wishes for the rest of the week :-)

let him go out. use that time to invite a few of your girlfriends ova for some fun. it doesnt need to be a problem. you could also comprimise to stay in some nights and go out others.
or theres always the option wher you get another boyfriend. the choice is yours but this doesnt need to ruin your relationship. i hope it all works out xx

I know how you feel, my hubby loves to go out and i hate it, i would much rather stay at home cuddled up on the sofa.
If i were you i would let him know how you feel and come to a comprimise, so maybe you could stay in one night and go out the next, but do something that you both wana do on your nights out. Or see how you feel about letting him go out on his own if you don't wana go out at all. But talk to him see wht he thinks.
