We all ask for hobbies, talents and of course degrees, we also match horoscope but what about health side, we are not unaware of deadly diseases like AIDS and many other. But we hesitate to ask for blood checkup, but we always go for a horoscope matching...
How to come of this hesitation???

What state do you live in? The state that I live in make it a requirement! Well, I would ask for it and say for our children's sake. You know if you have children that either of your blood mismatch could cause genetic deformities. Or prevent STD'S. That's what you are actually looking for. A little white lie won't hurt.

Get your blod tested. Show them the report. Ask for their report. It's not the Indian mentality preventing you from asking but your own shyness. People don't mind such things that are important.
Blood tests are not just meant foir AIDS and STD's but also to know other physical imbalances in a person. Like a bride's family would be hesitant to marry their daughter to a person with heart problems as they would fear that his life would be short.

Dont think about mentality thing. Tell them that you are concerned about this and want to ensure that you both are alright, health-wise.
What's wrong in ensuring that the people are healthy and not suffering from any desease, if there's anything like that, one can get the treatment to be better.
Should't hesitate to ask for blood test and all that.

times change and people have to change along with them. if you live in the united states, many states require that you get these tests done before granting you a marriage license. if you plan on getting married in america this has to be done. outside of the u.s., however, it's not required. so you have to take it upon yourself to request this from your partner and learn TOGETHER about sexual health as well as general health.

the best way would be that u should attach ur med certificates with ur biodata. this will intimate them to give you the same.
