i have always had guys look and thats it in school. in public they look a lot but then never make a move how come no one ever says anything if i am not bad looking and have been selected to teen pagents.

Girl: Perhaps you look like high maintenance. Guys can look at you all day long, but if you seem like a gold-digger all you are going to get is some player who will tell you pretty things, wine and dine you a few times, and leave you pregnant and destitute. That is how so many pretty girls end up. If you want to attract guys you must tone down your glitter, get a life (guys love able bodies who will contribute to their lives and not simply take and take), and say "hi" every once in a while. Men love to look, but the inviting personality gets the date every time.

There will always be more people who stare, then those who actually make a move. People stare, for different reasons. Yes, sometimes they are romantically interested. Even so, they may not always be available. Yes, even guys who are dating, in a relationship or are married, still look, but they certainly wont make a move. Like many girl, many guys are shy. Shy people are hesitant to make a move. If you appear that you may reject, humiliate or abandon them, then they're even less likely to approach you. If you have a reputation of doing any of those three things, its pretty certain they wont risk it. Let me ask you this. When you see a guy stare at you, and you like him, why don't you make a move on them? What's stopping you from making a move on them? Why do you feel that they have to approach you? Perhaps the fact that they even showed interest, is a good enough start on their part. It indicates interest, and if you were truly interested in return, you'd probably act upon that mutual interest. So, the next time a guy you like stares, approach him. Its worth a try. Best of luck in life and love. :-)

A lot of guys your age are intimidated by pretty girls. For that matter, a lot of older guys are, too. Just to try to be as friendly as possible and let them know you're interested. It's a two - way street, you know.

Because nobody likes rejection. They are afraid to talk to you because your good looking(or so you say) Guys are scared that they are going to be embarrased so they avoid it
