I read that in Iran they are waiting for a Messiah that will come when they have created enough chaos and problems in the world, and by creating chaos they will bring the Messiah sooner. Do all Muslims believe in this or only the ones in Iran??

I feel Mohammad had a false dream...........and now they are waiting for Mahdi. To me much of what Mahdi will do parallels the anti-Christ.
But as far as "End Times"..........no one knows when and I think it's sad that so many are focused on this "rapture" thing when all should just be walking in the way of the Lord and following his commandments.
Enjoy life that God gave you and walk in his ways.

We believe that Jesus(pbuh) will come back to kill the Anti-Christ a towards the end of time. It has nothing to do with creating choas.
There will also be a leader named Imam Mahdi, who will rule along side Jesus. We are told that Jesus will descend to the earth soon after the appearance of the Mahdi; he will join the Mahdi in establishing the Kingdom of God on earth; and he will pray behind Imam al-Mahdi. The true Christians will follow Jesus in accepting Imam al-Mahdi as the leader at the time and become Muslims.

We Muslims believe in Jesus(pbuh) as a prophet and 'not' the son of God or stuff like that.
we believe that he's the Messiah and he will return one day to fight all Evil and bring justice.
and Imam Mahdi which is our 12'th Imam will help Jesus(pbuh) as his right hand.

Chaos and problems in the world?? ........there is no way that we could bring Massiah who is Isa(pbuh) , the world know him as Jesus.... he will come back when Allah would want him to come.infact that time the world would be very unstable ! and he will come and would correct all that !

No, not the messiah. He is the twelvth Imam
His name is Imam Mahdi Peace and blessings be upon him.
He will come with Prophet Jesus (Isaa) Pbuh, and help calm the world when we are in need. They will reign for seven years.
All muslims believe in this to come about.
