I am a full-time working single mom and it seems that everytime I get a chance to, mostly on my days off, I tend to sleep from 12 to 20 hours straight. With the exception of going to the restroom a few times. Am I alone?

No you're probably just pooped from child rearing and working. As long as you're alert to your job and taking care of your child it shouldn't be a problem.

I am wondering if Yahoo! Answers isn't just a playspace for infantile prepubescent morons. The questions posted here are in a word, stupid.

Why people ask questions that they ought to be asking their doctors, or getting some baseline information through a google search is beyond comprehension.

Ma'am - go see your doctor. I am not a doctor, but I was an EMT some years ago. I handled most everything from people eating shotguns to auto accidents. You my dear have multiple problems that require all the services available. I suspect they are centered on that organ that lies equidistant between your ears.

Your biggest problem is being a single mom. Too bad you fell for that "I am woman hear me roar" bullshit. Just exactly how, being a single mom, can you sleep for 12 to 20 hours with a little curtaincrawler in you charge? You are either making it up, not fit to be a mother.

Good luck.

There is a definietly a disorder there, my not necessarily be sleeping. Could be from depression, vitamin deficiency, disease.

At the very least, you owe it to yourself to get a physical

Sounds like exhaustion or depression...you should consult a doctor.
