Using products like root boost from Regis and other gels after washing helps. I use velcro curlers and blow my hair dry. My hair has always been curl and perm resistant.

Since your hair won't curl I highly recommend that you use a quality curling iron. However if the curling iron does not work just do a regular perm. Apply perm solution to your hair and do not wash your hair for at least 24 hours to prevent the curls from disbanding . One day after the perm just use a leave in conditioner and you are good to go!

dont panic! my hair is the same way, no curling irons or amounts of curling styling products work for me either!!

try this. When you wash your hair, brush it really good, then while its wet, divide it into 2 sections, as if you were putting them in pigtails. towel dry them pretty good, and then brush again, and then twist them into buns, and let dry for 2 hours or so, or overnight, if you dont have the time in the morning.

I'm actually doing this right now, lol...
