Look up the company on the Better Business Bureau's website. If their address is listed on your report, you may also want to contact them via snail mail.

You can contact the credit company and ask them to give you the number associated with that trade line. The credit company normally has that info. The collection agency is representing the creditor you did not pay. So for example if the collections agency is for your wireless phone than you can try calling your wireless account and they may be able to get you to the right department.

deliver a letter disputing the thoughts on your credit document to the corporation that provided you that thoughts. The credit reporting corporation will in turn contact the series corporation. If there is not any reaction from the series corporation the thoughts will be bumped off out of your credit document. on the different hand, if the series corporation reply, you'd be the first to understand and may have their contact thoughts.

You need to report an error to the credit bureau and they have to investigate into it and get you the contact information.
