Two sites I use a lot:

www.great-dinner.com and
www.greatmealsonline.com

They are both kind of new - but they seem to be adding more recipes all the time. I like the soup recipe - split pea soup, on greatmealsonline. Here's a direct link:

You can choose a main dish, a side dish and then even a dessert separately. They also have a really good recipe for a tomato salad with sunflower seeds that I made last week.

There are plenty of healthier subsitutes for foods. You can buy Splenda, which is a derivative of sugar, so it can be used in baked goods and homemade ice creams, and it isn't absorbed by our digestive systems. You can buy a good ice cream maker at most food retail stores, and they're usually about 50 bucks. If you make your own ice MILK instead of ice CREAM and use Splenda instead of sugar, you can cut back on calories without feeling guilty. With your ice cream maker, you can also make fruity sorbets and sherbets with less calories, but equally as satisfying.
If you don't want to go the electronic route, you can freeze any juice and rake it with a fork after it's mostly frozen (about 3 hours in most freezers) and make an ultra-trendy granita. Grapefruit-prosecco, mango and pomegranate flavors are really popular right now, and all are relatively easy to buy. Pom makes a great pomegranate juice blend (pom-cranberry and pom-raspberry are good) and they're loaded with antioxidants!
As far as meatloaf and fettucini alfredo go... you can't really cut calories and have exactly the same flavor. You can swap out beef for and go for turkey for your meatloaf (Jennie-O has 99% fat-free ground turkey), and add different spices and onions for extra flavor. In your fettucine alfredo, you can TRY and swap the butter and cream with margarine and milk, let it reduce on the stove, and whisk in about a teaspoon of flour to help bind the sauce, but it won't be QUITE the same.

However - just a note. When you have a craving for these "unhealthy" foods, make yourself a smaller portion than you'd think you'd want to eat. This way, you're satifsied when you're done and not overstuffed on high-calorie foods.
There is also a place where you can go make healthy, affordable low-fat meals called Dream Dinners. The website is www.dreamdinners.com and you can see all the locations on a menu and if there are any locations near you. There are nutritional facts on all the meals on the website, and each portion usually breaks down to being about $3.50 - way less than at a restaurant. They have plenty of steaks, chicken, and pasta dishes every month, so you eat healthy and still feel like a queen.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMn5J

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Ok so many questions to answer.
1st Recipe.com
Also with the things that you like to make their are some healthier alternatives. Shrimp Alfredo- use milk instead of Cream or half and half
Meatloaf- use ground turkey or ground chicken
Shrimp- eat them in moderation as they are high in cholesterol- not necessarily a better alternative but try scallops or crawfish

As for desserts I have a similar problem as you. I have switched to things such as Licorice,Jello, honey instead of sugar or even splenda derived from sugar with fewer calories.

foodnetwork.com, and look up any vegetarian recipes......Also, I know a really good one....Its a Eggplant SubSand....Sooo,Yummy!! I got the recipe from Contessa Barefoot's (Ina Garten)....She used to cook for the White House, but she got tired of taking orders from them, and decided to got out on her own, and opened-up her own bakery at first, and it was such a Success, the first day she had to have her husband run to the nearest bakery and he bought everything in there store, then that's when they decided to open up another one, and to keep both very well stocked!! Just get you some really good sub Bread, some eggplant, some zuccini, and some good Italian Bread crumbs, and of course EVOO (extra virgin olive oil).. Slice the eggplant into thick bologna type of slices, the same with the zuccini, and get out three flat bowls, with the three (flour, salt & pepper, in one), then (2 eggs & water) in the other (Italian bread crumbs,w/ a tad of parmesan cheese in the bread crumbs, mix with a fork) ......Get your frying pan medium hot, with the EVOO and 2Tbns butter in the oil......check if its hot with a tip of your finger's drop of water in it.....Start to dunking the eggplant in the flour first, then the egg/water second, then the bread crumbs last.....Same with the zuccini.... And you could put a little bit of fresh garlic smears on the bread along with some EVOO, instead of dressings......And layer your sub with your fried vegeez, and VWALAAAA!!!! This sub, is so good!!! You could always jazz it up with some Monterey Jack, or Mozerella cheeses!! Thats entirely up to you.....but in all honesty I think it taste Fabulous with just the above ingredients.... And healthy too!!! Also for breakfast, instead of whatever it is you normally eat, you could have a Honey Bran muffin, with a banana, before your coffee, or tea, (If you drink them at all)....And you want to talk about instant energy!!! I used to steam my own vegeez for lunch alot of squashes, Butternut, Acorn, Zuccini, Carrots, Broccoli, and have them with NO butter on them, and I learned to appreciate the real taste of things without using all of the ordinary sauces, and spreads, that we are all used too using, you know.... And I'd have Broiled Honey chicken with it, or broiled salmon, with a baked potatoe, with NO butter, but Salsa on the potatoe instead......YUMMO!!! Hey Good-Luck, with all of this!!! smile!!!

you seem to like carbs. there is a lot of carbs in cakes, cookies, sugars.. also in pastas. potatos, rices. i would suggest to go more vegetarian. you can have ready snacks in the fridge of carrots, celery, and mix it up with fruits and nuts.
