BMI tells you if you are the right weight for your height but is that what you really want? I means there are other methods such as using BioElectrical Impedience which tells you how much body fat you have and muscle etc. I mean I am obese according to my BMI but I am 12.5% body fat rest is muscle. Gyms tend to have some good equipment to check fitness and there are lots of devices such as Bod pods, skin fold callipars etc.

Well, since you are looking to see how much you should weigh, go to
http://www.kidshealth.com/teen/food_fitness/wellbeing/weight_height.html
Scroll down, and you should see something like a chart called BODY MASS INDEX. Type in your information, and scroll down to see a graph. The graph pinpoints if you are at a healthy weight, underweight, at risk, or overweight. It's really quite helpful.

noo! 100 is WAY to small for yourself! You'll be considered "anorexic" by the doctor's..the lowest weight for your height and age is 111, and that is for a small frame. The average weight is about 129. Hope it helps!

Go to the center for disease control website and check for BMI where it will tell you where you stand as far as height, weight and body mass and also if you are healthy.
