i am supposed to go out on a blind date tonight with this girl but she just told me her friends are going to be with her. wouldn't that be kind of awkward?? i'm not going to bring my friends bc she might turn out to be ugly/fat/dorky and if so it would be embarrassing. what would you do guys? is telling her to drop her friends for our first date too much to ask? thanks.

maybe she needs a wingman to help her out. ask her to only bring one friend and maybe bring a trusted friend of your own and set him up with her friend. hope all works out for you

I'm sure it will be awkward for her too. They bring in the infantry for moral support is all. LOL
MOST blind dates are more like a double date. Not just 1 guy and 4 girls. Little weird to say the least. GO and have a good time. Ask her out again if you click and I'm sure it will be just the 2 of you.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. See the real person, not just the outside.

If I was you i would go with her and friends. If anything shes probabbly just nervous to go alone with you. Which now adays I dont blame her! Just go and try to have fun, Get to know her friends. If nothing comes from it then Its good practice anyways for future dates and whatever. . And if shes way cool then ask her on a second date but tell her you want to take her somewhere nice and without her friends so you can talk to her 1 on 1 and get to know her better.

Spend some time with the friends, and if the girl is OK ask her for a second date. If not, you can always leave early.

It's not really a date! She has her friends this first time for security! Maybe the second can be more personal! Just go along with it this time!

Its worth a shot, and if she says no, then I wouldn't go (on the blind date) because that would be very rude to do.

Think of it this way...you don't click...you have more to pick from.
