You mite try control alt delete and start shuttin other programs down to regain control of your PC. Sometimes another application is what causes the freeze.

MS Word automatically creates back up copies (unless you've turned this feature off). If you close Word down then open it again it should bring up the document you were working on. Any changes made since it was last autosaved will be lost. I think autosave is something like every 10 minutes.

actual, I purely did. this does not mean no vista updates, because the OS is for sale regardless of the indisputable fact that it really is petitioning that XP be supported till Vista is fastened..... Sorry to all Vista shoppers yet there are nonetheless way too many insects for me to decide on to modify. I must have the right to decide on the most up thus far OS help that WORKS with out having to 2d wager this or that and performance it properly proper with courses i'm utilising now. Microsoft pushed the OS on us in a damaged state for greed and administration.

not that i know of..
One useful feature of the new office is that it "auto-saves" docs.
If word crashes (or any office app) then it saves the thing your working on every 5mins (or whatever time you set).
You can recover most of what you have typed up, just open office again and it will tell you..
If it doesnt, i doubt it's saved - start again ! :(
