My hair goes just below my butt, and I'm trying to search for a pretty wedding hairstyle for my hair, but all of the bridal sites, and most other sites, classify "long" hair as being mid-back, or shoulder length, not butt length.

I don't have the money to go to a hairstylist, so I need to be able to do it myself, but I want to be able to do something that is different, and pretty.

Ideas, or websites?

My hair was at my waist when I got married. The lady that did my hair for me french braided it upside down (the braid started at my neck and went up) and once she reached the crown of my head, she folded the braid back over on itself and pinned it so there were no loose ends. She left out loose pieces to curl and frame my face and trail down my neck and back, it was a really elegant style that lasted the whole day, and I didn't have to worry about my hair flying everywhere (it was an outdoor wedding, lol) or getting caught in anything.

I have the same length of hair and just recently got married. It all depends on how you wear your hair now. Loose ringlets and half way up is really pretty for long hair. I had mine done at a salon and the hair dresser had to tuck away half of my hair so the updo would look good and not like a giant ball on my head. But I definetely think the loose ringlets or a soft wave looks pretty.

curl it and maybe pin some of it up with bobby pins so it's kind of half up half down and have ringlets in your face. be creative your fiance will love you no matter how it looks

Just cut it! long hair is droppy and ugly!
when you cut it it will look really pretty and you'll be happy!
then you can use the pretty hairsyles from the bridel websites.
