What should be done about the world's shortage of renewable resources?

What are we going to do when we all run out of Fossil fuels?

People who have the skills and initiative need to start developing renewable resources. I'm intending to myself by creating a self sufficient homestead. I want to convert a car to run on vegetable oil. Others should start to do the same, it's down to the individual to plan for the inevitable because governments are blinded by money and power.

Try looking into Permaculture - It basically means "Permanent Culture" all ideas surround using renewable resources. It is a way of life that could change the world if more people practiced it.
