I did not eat them before but feel the need to not buy them for the rest of the family most definately. We have to gain control of this situation without causing panic.

The bird flu issue has acted as the last nail in the coffin. I should have stopped eating their stuff after those turkey farm workers at Bernard Matthew's farm were found guilt of animal cruelty by using a turkey and hitting it with a baseball bat for fun. Some people are truly sick in the head and Bernard Matthew's style of farming should be outlawed. He is reaping what he has sowed for so many years.

The wafer thin turkey ham contains sodium nitrite, very bad for you, but that's not just in Bernard Matthews ham it's in basically all "red" meat (that is actually putrid grey), some fish, & surimi fish protein sticks ("crab sticks"), the sodium nitrite is an artificial red colouring. Nitrites convert into nitrosamines, which are also in tobacco smoke, according to the warning labels on the packets of tobacco.

Why not (stop, I mean)?
Yes, in the short run, no in the long run after clearance of the birdwobbles. Perhaps the answer lies in the way stores respond - for them to stock or not to stock, that is the question. If you can't buy you won't eat.

Wouldn't eat them anyway.. Not a fan of processed foods.

Bird Flu has nowt to do with it anyway. All those infected and hundreds of thousands that are not will be culled.
