It's AWESOME. We have one at work. A little pricey though. I would recommend the Westinghouse 46" LCD 1080p screen. It's about half the price and to me the quality looks the same.

I have the 42" Westinghouse and love it. I'd have bought the 46" but none were available at the time of my purchase.

If you can drop the $4500 (the price we paid for it at work) then go for it though. It's definitely the best 1080p LCD around.

Look, guys, this is for everyone by the way, if someone is considering an XBR model television they're interested in a premium product, not an entry-level Westinghouse. If you can't see the difference between a Westinghouse and an XBR one (or both) of the following may be happening: you're not qualified to give television advice or you're thinking only with your pocket book. To answer the question about the XBR...it is a great TV, however, if you're going to purchase that TV purchase an ISF calibration (the video processor is specifically designed for ISF calibration). If you're not interested in having your television calibrated to get the most out of it buy the Sony 2500 series; they're both 1080P but have a different video processor. Bottom line: the XBR series is an awesome product.
