I am 18 but I have no credit history. My father refuses o cosign for me because I'm staying on campus. (He thinks I'll just be partying all the time, there's no convincing him.) My mother doesn't mind but she has bad credit. I want to get a loan but I'm not sure if and how it's possible for me to get one on my own? Also can anyone suggest some good scholarships websites?

You can get a student loan without a co-signer! Like the Stafford Loan and the Perkins loan. U just have to fill out your FAFSA to see if you qualify.

Here are some links to good scholarship sites:

www.brokescholar.com
www.scholarship.com

Good Luck!
