You're not going to like this answer... BUT the safest way, with minimum damage to your walls, is to put tape over the entire surface of the mirror, and break it into small pieces with a hammer. The tape will keep the shards together. Use goggles and gloves and a long sleeved shirt. Have a trash can there to put the pieces in.

attempt to dismantle it in situ. If the replicate is held in a body then take the replicate out of the body and then dismantle and get rid of the body. If the replicate is only a bite of glass glued to the wall then there are 3 a possibility thoughts... a million. cover it in tape and destroy it then steam the continues to be off utilising a steamer. 2. cover it in tape and steam around the perimeters till it comes thoroughly loose. Then pull it off the wall. 3. Use a warm air gun yet attempt to warmth the completed replicate rapidly through retaining the gun transferring or you'll crack the replicate. you'll as nicely get rid of the part of wall. in my opinion, i'd attempt the nice and cozy air gun first. you may be nicely recommended to positioned some thing all the way down to seize the replicate if it unexpectedly falls too.

Don't trash the mirror. Call a glass store and ask them if they'll take them. If they won't take it for free, pay them to come take it out. It's not worth running a shard of glass through tendons in your hand. If it's big enough, they might actually pay you for the mirror.

if you are going to trash them, cover the glass with tape, and pry them off the wall (the tape will hold the pieces together if it breaks). If you think it will be too heavy to move, bye a glass cutting tool (hardware store) and cut it up first.
