That depends on your age, and your state or country. Different places all have different laws. Here in CA for instance you cant even get a conditional permit if you are under a certain age with out driving classes.. and you wont get a full license at all until you hit age 18. After you age 18 you just have to take the written & driving tests like anyone else

In most states no matter what your age is they do require you to take a driving test as far as I know. Call the DMV in your state and ask them. That way there will be no surprises when you go to get it.

All states require a drivers test, but not driving classes. If you take and pass a driving class however, it lowers your insurance payments.

In Michigan you can wait till your 18 and just take a paper/road test. But who wants to do that?

where i live you have too but im not sure with you cuz i dont know where you live but its a good idea to, it gets you ready and less nervous if your the nervous type. and you will know everything so you arent confused on the roads!

no but i wouldn't want you on the road if you didnt take them.
