First, check with your family doctor before you start ANY excercise or diet plan.
2nd: Drink ice water. About a gallon a day. Don't go over that by too much - there is such a thing as water toxicity that is fatal. You'll pee a LOT, but it helps get your kidneys working the way they're supposed to and let's your liver work on metabolizing fat. It also burns about 150 calories just to heat the water up. Further, the water helps reduce your cravings for food.
3rd, slightly reduce the amount of calories you eat - knock off maybe 250 calories a day and you'll be losing a lot of fat.
4th - Exercise. Anything. Pushups, situps, walking, running, mountain-climbers, lungers, basic US Army PT works wonders.
The way the body works, if you burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight. That's all there is to it. No mysteries, no special anything needed.
Look up your BMR - Basic Metabolic Rate. Burn 3,500 calories more than you take in and you will have burned 1 pound of fat. Period.
With the above, drink a gallon of ice water a day - that's 1050 calories a week. Eat 200 calories less a day, that's 1400 calories a week. Burn 250 calories a day in exercise, that's another 1750 calories a week. Total? 4200 calories a week or about a pound and a half lost every week.
You do NOT want to alter your weight by more than 2 pounds a week. That puts undue stress on your body.
Follow this and you'll have lost your 15 pounds in 3 months. Safely, easily, and built muscle in the process.
Enjoy! I use this method to keep fit for rugby and firefighting.

You should try aerobic exercises that will help to burn fat and you should also do some weight training a girl can cope with 3 kg dumbbells .So you can increase your muscle size and so your body will generates more power and so it can burn more fat . But the exact way to lose fat mass is to increase your heart rate while training so the best way to do is running or walking fast maybe ,

Walk, take the stairs instead of elevators, dance while you do the dishes, etc. Just keep moving. That will help burn calories.
