No to the first question. Mirrors hung across from each other create images that seem to go on into infinity, disorienting people and depleting vital Ch'i.
Yes to the second question. Mirrors are often placed over fireplaces to balance the fiery Ch'i with reflective water.

yes, as long as the room is not a kitchen nor a bedroom. don't worry about what the other person said about chi reflecting to infinity, chi distribution is more complicated than just having to bounce off from mirrors! so, go on, decorate your living room with mirrors.

the only reason 2 mirrors may be placed opposite one yet another is that if there are issues like furnishings that block the bypass, lower back and front door s could be sparkling without seen issues in the way.
