Very few.
Our tank fleet is in more danger of wearing out than it is from enemy attacks.
Trivia note: we had more tanks damaged from the road collapsing underneath them and sliding into a body of water than we have from enemy attacks.

officially? none. The Chobham armor, invented by the British, for their Chieftain MBT, is a composite armor, and is used extensively in the M1A1 improved in the M1A2. One inch equals roughly 3 inches of solid armored steel. It is immune to all known hand held anti-tank weapons, and most if not all, c-shaped anti-tank weapons. A fully loaded A1 can get to 70 tons, and with the turbine, is still very quiet. It's top speed is classified. None have been lost to enemy action, although the treads were knocked off one by a mine. It's a double ah-s*** if it shows up behind you.
