the other night while burning a movie file on my nero my cpu was running on 100% is this right and does it make your pc slower thanx

yes its ok, but also remember whilst burning, let the burning software use all your processing power, ie dont run any other progs or use your pc whilst burning or you may grind to a halt.

It is right for what you were doing, and it does make your pc slower, the Central Processing Unit is maxed out. That is a lot of data you are moving, and the CPU is what is moving it.

yes this is why it is best to just walk away from your pc while you are encoding/burning a dvd.
