recycle prescription bottles?

recycle prescription bottles?

i know pharmacies cannot re-use prescription bottles, and i know there are 1001 uses for them (coins, seeds....)

but what about plain ole recycling?

anyone know anything? i read a blurb about sending them to haiti but there was no further info. thanks

If the bottles are made out of plastic or glass, they can be recycled.

what about a medical refuse in your area? your local hospital might know.
