Okay so here is my situation.

I was dating this guy for a year and a 1/2.

we broke up because he wasn't treating me good, he was moving, and we were arguing all the time.

i do know that it is over between us and i do not want to be back in a relationship with him.

so to make a long story short, i went out on my first date since him last night with this incredible guy. he has ALL the morals and values that i would want in a guy and we had a great time. we held hands, we kissed, we cuddled by the fire...but for some reason I feel guilty. i feel like if my ex (who i don't talk to anymore at all for emotional reasons..) were to ask me about it, i would feel like lieing...like i have done something wrong. i feel guilty for liking this new guy that is in my life. i have made it clear to the new guy that i am not going to get in a serious relatoinship right now, so we agreed to date... but i still feel guilty...

so i guess my question here is, should i feel guilty?

No, you have no reason to. You are not in a relationship w/ anybody, you have been upfront and honest w/ new guy. You might just not be ready to date yet. That could be the reason you feel guilty. You might have rushed into dating too soon and your heart is letting your head know. Take it slow and just let your heart heal. Good luck!!! :)

why feel guilty the old relationship is over isnt it? move on dont think about the ex unless you plan to get back together with him and if you want the ex back dont lead this new guy on sounds like you need to be alone for awhile to get things together

Unfortunately your asking the wrong person. I feel guilty too. But you have less reason than I do , so no, enjoy this new found "great guy" guilt free.
