I was studying by myself in a coffee shop for my school, and there was this other girl who was also sitting by herself on a couch listening to music, prob. chatting with other friends b/c she was laughing and had her headphones on, hardly looking busy. So I was contemplating over 45 minutes of whether i should talk to her or not (we never met each other before). So i finally got the guts and went up to her and said very basically, "I'm just a little bit bored, so i was wondering if i can sit here and talk to you."
She just looked up and said, "im sorry, but im really busy right now" and that was it...
Do you not think that it was bitchy of her to say that, even after it takes a lot of guts for a guy to go up to a girl and start talking to her? At least I would expect her to say, "sure, but im about to leave pretty soon."

im glad that you took the guts to walk up to her and ask her. if she was just talking to her friends AND listening to music.....well that sounds like a bitchy move to me. she should have said something different. or she could of talked to you and then said that she was leaving. i dont think you should worry about her anymore. if she said that to you....she obviously has no obligation to be with u. (no offense of course)

This girl might be a little shy. Or she really could have been busy. Or she could have had a boyfriend and might not have wanted to be seen with another guy. We (my friend and I) don't think it was bitchy. Don't dwell on the past.Try and find another girl.

Maybe it was rude what she said. On the other hand she may have been only reacting to what you said. That you had to be bored out of your brain before you would speak to her. Next time I would choose your words more wisely
