I am wondering if Generic RX are as good and as strong as the regular. Maybe its all in my head but I don't think they are.
I'd love some Proffessional inputs here. Thanks in advance.

FDA requires that all drugs be safe and effective. Since generics use the same active ingredients and are shown to work the same way in the body, they have the same risks and benefits as their brand-name counterparts. FDA requires generic drugs to have the same quality, strength, purity and stability as brand-name drugs.

Contact your physician, pharmacist, or insurance company for information on your generic drugs. You can also visit the FDA website at http://www.fda.gov/cder/ogd/index.htm for more information.

They are the exact same thing. When a new drug is developed the company that developed it has all right over this drug for a few years i cant remember how many meaning no other company's can produce it. Brand name drugs are allot more expensive because the company has to make up for the money that they have spent on researching and developing the drug. Other company's once the copyright has ran out are allowed to produce the same drug for a lot lower cost because they don't have near the expenses. This is why when a new drug is placed on the market there is not a generic brand available for a few years.

They are identical as far as the active ingredients. A drug company has a patent on any new medication that they develop, but after the patent wears off, any company can make the same thing and put it on the market. There are some differences, perhaps, in the inactive ingredients (sugar, colorings, stabilizers, etc), but the main ingredients that cause the medication to work are exactly the same.

The active ingredients are the same but the fillers are not always. Sometimes the generics do not work as well as the name brand, despite what people think. I've read about this in various places (I do a lot of research on medication).

I've taken a lot of (prescribed) pills over the years. I was nervous when each came out with a generic--but found that they work just as well.

After doing some home work to ensure I was about to deal with a reputable outfit, I was very glad with the level of service, and the quality of the product I had ordered. Glad to say I will be doing business with them again and referring them to friends.

They are the same potency. They have to be according to law. Take a generic mood stabilitzer to help your head and your anxiety.

Chemically they are exactly the same. If you want to pay for the name brand go ahead, but that's what you're paying for - the name.
