i would whant to know aprox. how much does it cost to send a body to their native country

No idea. Maybe call the Department of Transportation or Port Authorities. Or an airline. They might know.

BTW, star for the most unexpected, probably real question today.

It depends on the countries involved. So I can't really answer how much it would cost. If it is from Florida to Haiti it will be much less than if you send it from, say, Florida to Japan.

I think there are two steps that you have to take. Contact the consulate or embassy of the destination country and ask them about their regulations. You may have to provide some documentation of the deceased's identity and perhaps other documentation.

Also, contact an airline, which would probably be the normal way to send it. The airline will be able to tell you exactly how much you will have to pay to ship the body.

Other than that, I don't think there is anything you have to do.
